Building web sites of tomorrow, today.

Do you have questions or comments about this site?  Please let me know by sending your comment to me.

Everyone should have a web site!

Welcome to my personal page full of just that - personal information, or at least information that I am willing to share on the WWW!

So, why a personal web site?

One argument is that there is always a story to share, and that is my goal here.

It is my belief that we are on a journey called life.  I believe that there is always something to learn each day, no matter what you do during this journey we call life.

So, here are some of the basics about me...

I live in Kirkland, Washington with my life partner, Rob Haverty.  We both work at Microsoft.  Until recently, we were both testers.  Rob recently became a program manager in the assistive technology area.  He is an internal technical evangelist.  I am a test lead in the Windows Application Compatibility Group in the Windows Division.  I have been doing this job for almost 4 years now.

In August of 2001, we celebrated our 5th anniversary by having a Commitment Ceremony.  You may view some of the images by selecting the link in the upper right border called Commitment.

In preparation for our ceremony, we re-landscaped our backyard. Be sure to view the Yard pages which you can access by clicking on the link in the upper right hand corner of this page.  You will be able to view a PowerPoint presentation and some before and after pictures of the yard.

Both Rob and I like to collect.  We enjoy Asian artwork - mostly Chinese -  and Native American artwork from the Southwest.  It is a unusual combination, but we are happy with it and that is what matters the most.

But, as a collector, one of my real passions are Christmas ornaments designed by Christopher Radko.  These are the pages to check out!  I have had the opportunity to meet Christopher on several occasions and the first time we met, I had a chance to talk with him for an extended amount of time.

In December 2001, our best friend Carolyn adopted a baby girl from China.  And, in December 2002, she received notice that she had been approved to adopt a young boy.  This information can be viewed under the headings Our Goddaughter and Our Godson.
