| The top picture is from the spring of 2006 when we started clearing the area while the bottom picture was taken on 8/13/2006. | The top picture shows the roadside area of the front yard. The plan is that the slope will be filled with ground cover roses. I believe that we will provide a nice appetizer for the deer as they go up the road. We replaced the flowering cherries as an arborist explained to us that they were infected and could not be cured with the parasite that had infected them. We put in 3 Tibetan Flowering Cherry trees along the road. The bark appears as burnished copper and against the cedar fence it stands out very clearly to the passing motorist or walker. |
