 | When we purchased our first home, our yard was anything but welcoming. Rob is an avid gardener and once he starts, there is no stopping him. This presentation can show some of the work that he has done over time on the yard.In preparation for our Commitment Ceremony, we focused on our backyard. When we first moved in, we had planned on putting in a pond, as it was the perfect yard for a water feature. You can take a tour of our backyard by selecting the a link from above. The images up to the snow scenes were taken during the first and second years of the yard installation. After the snow scenes you will find more current pictures along with the year at the top of each page.Our pond was roughly 49 feet long and at it's widest, it was about 25 feet. It holds approximately 2500 gallons and the pump circulates about that much water every hour. It is an under gravel filter system much as you would find in any aquarium - just on a much larger scale.
