 | Our Goddaughter The first child that Carolyn adopted was a little girl. Her Chinese name was Yu Qui Mei. Translated, this means Autumn Plum. This is the first picture that we received of her when Carolyn got the notification that she was approved to adopt her little girl. Carolyn has named her Loralyn which is a combination of her and her mother's names. She is a young dragon, as she was born in the year of the Dragon on the Chinese calendar. It did not take her long to get her two godfather's wrapped around her little finger. We went down for after Christmas 2002, and she quickly learned that all she had to do was lift her arms to be held, and she learned that we were more than willing to feed her and hold her cup for her when she needed a drink! She almost always has a smile and is quickly developing a mind of her own. But, she is one beautiful little girl. To view a multimedia presentation I did for her, click here.
