Well, if you have found your way to this page, it is because you really enjoy digging into a web site!

This page has a link to old invitations, at least those that are still in existence, to our open houses over the years.  Currently they do not go back very far, but, hey, I never planned on keeping them anyhow, so there ya go!

Enjoy, I know I appreciated several of them just for the "artistic value" showing how I have grown some in doing these invites.  There is always a touch of the poetic in each of them, some more than others.  Sometimes the creative side of me loses out to the getting it done and published part of me.  Ah, yes, good ol' project management skills at their finest!

GoddaughterSummer 2003
This piece was made specifically for our goddaughter who was adopted from China.A celebration of the summer and our old pond.

Pictures of our original pond can be found here.

Summer 2004Christmas 2004
This was the first invitation to an open house in our new home located in Woodinville, WAOur first Christmas in the Woodinville home.  There were 2 new 10 foot tall trees.  The theme of the main tree was Traditional.  This theme was selected as I did not know how many ornaments the tree would hold.  I am slowly getting more ornaments on each of these trees, but is has taken some time.  The tour of the decorations can be viewed here.

The music was by Garth Brooks.

Christmas 2005Summer 2006
Having learned a lot from doing the 10 foot trees for 2004, I selected a Santa theme for the tree in the formal living room.  This tree had ~475 ornaments on it that were all created by Christopher Radko.

In the invite, you will see ornaments by Christopher Radko, Patricia Breen and several of the Ino Schaller Candy containers offered through Christopher Radko.

The music was by Clint Black.

In celebration of our new pond and second summer invite this piece was created as our invitation.

Be sure to view the images and information about the pond here.

The music is by Tranquil World from the Chinese Garden CD>

Christmas 2006Summer 2007
The main tree of Radko was covered in over 450 Italian ornaments this year.

But, with the invitation for this year, I made a change in what images I used in the invitation.  Traditionally I have focused on the theme of the main Radko tree.  But, with this invitation I changed it to include pieces that will be out on display in our home for the holidays.

This means that you will see some of our Santa collection and ornaments from all of the different trees (there were 11 this year).

The deck and the pagoda were completed this year and the invite reflected the pond with maturing plantings, contained some of the scenes of the yard with snow.

The music was a traditional Chinese melody to reflect the yard.
