 | Christmas 2007 The pictures this year are presented as we would do the tour of our home. They started in the family room standing and viewing Rob's tree which has pieces that he grew up with from his mother's collection, pieces that he made throughout the years, collectibles by Patricia Breen, Christopher Radko and gifts from family and friends. Also in the family room was our Southwest themed tree with ornaments by Christopher Radko, Ne'Qwa, hand carved kachinas, silver, copper, pottery and other pieces that we have collected over the years. One other tree that is not presented is a 3 foot feather tree that held Christopher Radko Italian angels. In total we had 13 trees this year, ranging in height from 3 - 3.5 feet (3), 7.5 feet (8) and 10 feet (2). Pictures were taken at different times of the day/night to provide a better view of what they look like in the various modes of light. A diffuser was used in the evening to take the pictures so that the full effect of the light was not thrown on the trees. The Peacock Tree | | | | A view of the tree in late afternoon. | Detailed view of the peacock. | Full view of the tree late morning to early afternoon. | | The ornaments on this tree are by Christopher Radko Joy to the World and Patricia Breen. Due to the low ceiling in this room, peacock feathers and blue/green silk greens were used for the finial. The garland is December Diamonds and the smaller peacocks purchased from Milaeger's. |
 | | | One of the small peacocks from Milaeger's | The bottom portion of the peacock tree. Notice the colors of the tree skirt, the colors actually vary based on the angle of the light and are the same colors of the peacock. |
 | | | This is a limited edition created by Dennis Brown from Reasons To Believe in Kirkland, WA. This is in our formal dining room with the Peacock Tree. |
The Asian Tree | | | | Standing in the entryway, this is the view of the Asian tree that you would see. | This view of the tree is from the formal dining room as was taken during the late afternoon. | This view of the tree is from a nighttime photo shoot and would be if you were standing directly in front of the tree. | | The ornaments on this tree and the arch between the formal living and dining rooms are by Christopher Radko, Joy to the World, Ornaments to Remember, Patricia Breen and Thomas Glenn. There are many other ornaments on this tree, but are not glass collectibles. There are also antique silk ornaments that were made in China, Japanese balls that were made at the end of WWII and bamboo pieces to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Also on this tree are two Japanese obis. |
 | | | | This year I used the umbrellas and obis to provide a different look to the tree. With the exception of the top umbrella which is from cotton, the other umbrellas are made of rice paper with painting on them. | Shown in this picture are ornaments Breen, Glenn and Radko with an obi. |
 | | | This is a white jade statue of Kwan Yin that is next to the Asian tree. | This is the view that you would see if you were standing in our entryway, or had just stepped into the formal living room. This picture was taken in the evening. |
The Main Tree The Patricia Breen Tree | | | | Standing at the front door, this is the view of the tree which was taken late morning. | These three ornaments are all one of a kind pieces that were won over the last three years. The White Sublime was won at Highlands while the other two were won at Gump's San Francisco. | This is a view of the Breen tree if you were viewing the Asian tree and just turned around. | | All ornaments on this tree and the garland (9 foot) on the stairway behind the tree are by Patricia Breen. There are approximately 300 ornaments on the tree and garland combined. |
 | | This is our Jewish Bush which has all ornaments by Christopher Radko on it. We will be purchasing a larger tree this next year as there were more ornaments than bush. The Menorah is one that we purchased about 3 years ago. We have a number of friends who celebrate Hanukah and we hope to honor them with this bush. |
The Floozy Tree | | | | As you enter the our home, this is the first tree that you would see. | The top of the tree. | The middle of the tree | | This is our second 10 foot tall tree. It is a slim tree and has a 4 foot base. There are approximately 3,200 lights on this tree by GKI. This year the tree was all Italian ladies by Christopher Radko. Many of them appear to be Las Vegas showgirls. This tree always generates a lot of interest when the floozies make an appearance. The feathers that are on the tree and stairway garland are actually silk feathers that unless you touch them, you would not realize that they are silk. They were purchased at The Atrium which is where we purchased all of our full size trees. |
The Animal Tree | | | This is a view of the tree as you come up upstairs. Notice the Magician finial in the middle of the tree. He brought the animals to life each night. | Walking towards the stairs, this is the view that you would have of the tree. | | This tree had all Christopher Radko Italian animals on it. There are several very special pieces on here, Xenon, Horse of a Different Color and the Silver Squirrel. |
